Nokia has released the impressive mobile phone “Nokia N900“ in November of 2009. The mobile has a 3.5 inches TFT resistive touchscreen, 16M colors display and 800 x 480 pixels quality. Proximity sensor, Accelerometer sensor and Full QWERTY keyboard are the other features of the mobile.
Though the main feature of Nokia N900 is the Processor and the O.S. The Nokia N900 uses the ARM Cortex TM-A8 processor which is the first applications processor based on the ARMv7 architecture and is the highest performance, most power-efficient processor. The N900′s Cortex A8-based core yields significant improvements in day-to-day usability over the N810′s ARM11 unit. It consumes very low amount of power which further optimized the performance of the device.
Nokia N900 uses “Maemo” 5 OS. Maemo is a software platform developed by Nokia for smart phones and Internet Tablets. It is based on the Debian operating system. The Maemo is a user-friendly operating system and it works better then other smart phone’s OS.
